yet, all was lost once the night came. everything upon adel's island died and withered away, leaving adel nothing to feed upon. leaving it hungry. that hunger led the dragon to madness, its very skull splitting into a larger jaw with hundreds of rows of teeth, as adel turned to the night in a fruitless attempt to satisfy "a ravening unending."
