In the beautiful kingdom of Sephoria, King Shaun lived surrounded by everything he could ever want. Yet why did his life felt so... Empty. That all changed when he met Gulia, a peasant girl with eyes like fire. They shared beautiful moments in secret and Shaun fell deeply in love.

But the gods, seeing this forbidden love between a king and a disgrace of a being they were furious. It was an unforgivable violation of their natural ways. Their anger went beyond what anyone had ever seen before

First came famine. The once fertile land of Sephoria vanished crops failed, and the people starved. Shaun did everything he could to help. He spent all the royal treasury buying food from neighboring kingdoms.

As hunger flew through the kingdom, so did rumors. Many blamed Gulia, calling her the cause of the kingdom's issues. Others turned on Shaun, turning the blame on him for neglecting his duties for the sake of a commoner. The bind that once held the kingdom together had broken. Then the plague arrived. Weak by hunger the people were ravaged by disease. The kingdom that had once won wars was now nothing.

Slowly Shaun turned to the gods, offering sacrifices and renouncing his love for Gulia hoping to earn their forgiveness. Going as far as sacrificing Gulia to appease them. However, it’s too late.

In the end, Sephoria had fallen. There lands stripped of anything with life, and slowly Shaun watched his kingdom fall to its knees. He watches from his castle at the destruction of the kingdom and as his tower falls, he accepts his fate.
