The Public Relations Department will focus on promoting our growth and connecting with users beyond our platform and community.

Public Relations Department – Duties & Responsibilities

Public Outreach & Communication

  • Serve as the primary voice of the organization to the public
    Communicate updates, announcements, and official statements
  • Ensure consistent branding, tone, and messaging across platforms

Media & Platform Management

  • Manage public-facing platforms (social media, forums, announcements, press posts)
  • Coordinate with the media team on graphics, videos, and campaigns
  • Monitor engagement, comments, and public sentiment

Reputation & Image Management

  • Protect and strengthen the community's public image
  • Address public concerns, feedback, and inquiries professionally
  • Assist with crisis communication when issues arise

Community Relations

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with users, partners, and communities
  • Encourage community growth and healthy interaction
  • Collect feedback and report trends or concerns to leadership

Partnerships & Collaborations

  • Identify and manage partnerships, sponsors, and collaborations
  • Represent the organization in external communications
  • Coordinate joint announcements or events

Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with Administration, Moderation, and Media teams
  • Ensure public messaging aligns with internal policies and decisions
  • Assist departments with public-facing communication needs

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain records of announcements and outreach efforts
  • Track engagement and outreach performance
  • Provide regular reports and recommendations to leadership

Additionally, the Forum Services Team will officially become a division within this department.
