This dark action-adventure platformer is set in a fractured multiverse after the collapse of the Universal Railroad, one of the only safe systems that once connected every universe and timeline. The Railroad is made up of Ether Tracks, full inter-dimensional routes, built from Voidrails, the individual rail fragments that stabilize the entire system. When the Railroad shatters, Ether Tracks break and Voidrails scatter across unstable realities, causing universes with incompatible properties to clash, with time, physics, and logic spiraling toward collapse. Direct dimensional travel results in eradication, making the rebuilding of the Railroad the only safe way to move between worlds. Players explore varied realms such as grounded reality-based settings, a near-identical mirror world home to fire-wielding, chaotic, or morally complex individuals, and abstract object-based dimensions. Along the way, they encounter a fiery former hero now secretly a villain, a mischievous and flirty sibling who thrives on chaos, a resilient family member seeking redemption, a stoic tech genius with uranium-powered gadgets, a clever but anxious young teen navigating the dangers of fractured universes, and a wild, unpredictable cat connected to an older version of that teen whose presence adds chaos and energy to every encounter. As Ether Tracks are repaired and Voidrails restored, the truth behind the Universal Council's characters and abilities, emerges. The Universal Council while are able to extract life from their universes, can't extract the rails, placing the fate of the collapsing realities in the hands of those who must restore what was broken.
