i picked two books, the one im currently reading clue had said 'we went to the moon because we thought it'd be fun, but it turns out it sucks.' or smth like that. i really liked this bc it felt like unwraping a present and i felt a bit of anticipation and had fun guessing what the book would be about. when i unwrapped the book i felt disappointed, the cover was unappealing and the book was kinda dirty and worn, i immediately realized that i absolutely would not have rented the book if i had saw the state it was in but luckily... i did. the book is called 'Feed' (or The Feed, lowkey forgot), im like over 70 pages in and i actually like it alot, its a satire on a future where humans have micro chips on their heads but its from the perspective or average highschoolers and im happy i gave it a chance. im excited to continue reading it and to unwrap the other book when i finish this one, and i hope my libraries do smth like this in the future.

not only that tho (I'm not sure if its just mines) but at some point, my local library had a Nintendo Wii plugged in the analog tv with some Wii disks on the floor for people to play (surprisingly it never got stolen to this day )
