<![CDATA[what song should i play at my school open mic?]]>i play guitar and i used to want to be a musician but i gave up bc my voice sucks but i thought maybe i could give it another chance since the schools doing a thing

anyway my current ideas are:

-birds of a feather by billie (i cant hit those highnotes 🙏)
-i dont want to set the world on fire (im still practicing it but i basically have it down, and i wrote some lyrics to replace the spoken interlude)
-Te amo y mas from the book of life (english cover)
-an original (probably a sad love song 💀 )

i know how to play way more songs so im open to suggestions ig

We’re not even going to interact with most these bummy kids after we graduate, so why should it matter so much what they think?

I used to have that same mindset until you started treating everything like it’s embarrassing. Honestly, I’m sick of constantly hearing about it. Have some fun.
,get experience,make memories,experiment. We’re already not in the best situation, so why not enjoy ourselves a little?

If people already think we’re losers, then there’s even less reason to care about their opinions. I miss when we could just be a little embarrassing together and laugh about it.

. Being a teenager is awkward and embarrassing sometimes—that’s just part of it. One of the best parts of being young is having the freedom to be a little embarrassing and corny before we fully mature. That’s how people figure out who they are,all the best memories are a bit embarrassing.
You’re genuinely talented,this could honestly be the thing that pushes you to feel passionate about music again, if it isn’t, then it’s just a small mess-up along the way, not something worth being ashamed or embarrassed of.

There’s no reason to get so caught up in what everyone else thinks. I just miss seeing you confident pookie. :(
Oh yeah and grimes has a flyer on the table as well :P
