i feel like it's genuinely bad webdesign...
by having this be the first thing users see you're prioritizing the categories feature over the actual engagement between users and idk i feel like the categories are not that important
i feel like the change was unnecessary and less convenient
anyway this is just how i personally feel abt the change since ppl keep talking abt it:)

That's completely reasonable to believe. We will work on something else in the near future, this isn't permanent.
