<![CDATA[lost over 1000$ in pokemon cards]]>so ive been collecting cards since i was 9 but i stopped when i was like in 7th grade bc pokemon cards are for little kids (because no one wanted to actually play the card game with me:( )
my dad is tryna sell cards so he bought my whole collection for 80$
i got to keep my umbreon x darkia which cost like 100-200
but i had a shining mew and mew x mewtwo gx tag team and blastoise and pliplup tag team and espeon x deoxsis (butchering my spelling yall) and those alone are worth hundreds of dollars plus my like 1000 other cards (no, LITERALLY a thousand cards plus trainer cards)
ive been scammed:(
he said when he sells my good ones he'll give me more money tho so its ok, ima miss my mew x mewtwo
oh and i used to have this mew card i lost when i was 10..... turns out it was worth 100$ :')

to make it worse, he was originally gonna give me 200$ but i wanted to keep my umbreon and he told me it was probably the only one worthy anything (not understanding how many cards i truly had) and my dumbass agreed TvT

anyways, im considering using this as a chance to start over and collect cards again but idk its a pretty expensive hobby and idk if ive lost my passion for pokemon yet

what do yall think i should do? could be fun, but i could save my money for other things
