<![CDATA[I did need glasses ]]>Alright so my doctor realized i’ve been reporting headaches for like… 5 years 😭 and the second i told him where they usually hit, he goes “people who usually report headaches in this region long term tend to have vision problems and require corrective glasses” (which I took a course in psychology so I was reallllly hoping he’d mention poor sleep instead)

his assistant didn’t even hesitate, she immediately clocked it after a quick test,she walked in the damn room and said “yeah he definitely needs glasses,maybe a 20/30 prescription bjt it’s difficult to be exact”

and here’s the crazy part — I used to literally memorize the letters on the chart when they told me to close my eyes so i wouldn’t get glasses 💀 like i was hella committed to the lie bc I didn’t want to look nerdy or faggy

but this time i was actually planning to take it seriously bc Izzy told me they wouldn’t be that bad, so i went in thinking “it won’t be anything too serious,if Izzy thinks I’ll look cute then it’s fine”

and then last second i panicked and tried to back out like a coward 😭

except i forgot all the letters.

so i STILL ended up doing it genuine by accident

now i have an appointment on the 27th and i’m about to go into junior year with glasses,looking like a nerdy gay dude

honestly it’s hella lame that i chickened out just to still do it genuine bc i panicked,so dramatic 😭
