I am not really sure if giving discord your ID changes your Experiace any if you're 16-17 years of age at least where I'm at, but ik my sibling (15) got banned from facebook for failing to provide an ID. I understand we are a forum site but we seem to be lumped in with everything else from what I have seen. what are your ideas as a community on what to do if/when we're forced to do age verification?

like this chatsite called... heyspace? it's something like that although I believe it was the site's decision. A photo sharing site is blocked too, I can't remember the name

I think GA USA might just have more restrictions, forum sites, some like, email providers, videogames (like roblox, I never have played it, but my siblings do) some SMS messaging sites and a lot of apps that are video and photo editors ask for it too I belive

I do not condone the use of faking IDs, it's just that it not only is easy to bypass it's also a security risk. this is also an issue both political parties agree on and its suspect that manny companies can easily profit from this sort of thing. and I hate it when someone says ''think of the kids finding bad content online, you MUST hate children if you don't agree on this. literally both left and right winnger's agree what's wrong with you?" its like they forget data breaches happen and that if I were a 9 year old I could just steal my parents ID or older siblings to watch the latest helluva boss episode. ONCE AGAIN, THIS IS BAD, DO NOT LIE ABOUT YOUR AGE OR USE A FAKE ID OR STEAL ONE. (* also wanna reiterate that I am currently 16, turning 17 next month and I am of age to use browse DNS and I am NOT a 9 year old child*)
