also the whole reason the argument happened was because he had ALREADY submitted a appeal and the ban was supposed to be shortened to two weeks (but wasnt for some reason)

I made a mistake and put a year instead of a month as I was doing a lot a one time. Nobody wanted an excuse to permanent ban him, I quite literally OFFERED him the opportunity to appeal it. Do not start that accusing bullshit. I told you what it was, move on. He will not be unbanned until it's appealed.

that's still not my point, either way he was banned and was disrespectful to staff. Adding up all the previous incidents to this is why he was banned. I remember the entire situation, I made a mistake on the Ban Duration, I mistook it for a year.

You are acting like Johnny was the only people we were removing during that time period; multiple other trolls and individuals were removed as well. Do not sit here and turn the tables on us like we did something wrong, WE did our duties and that's it. Admit he messed up and even if he didn't, he certainly did by calling me an offensive term. Our decisions will always be judgemental based mixed with our current policies as well. @Almond would certainly have banned him permanently if he openly disrespected Maribitt or any members of our staff just like I did.

Regardless, we tell you to block people and you don't (so why should we have to take the time to unban you when you appeal if you don't listen??). Doesn't quite make much sense. We tell all of you the same thing all the time. It is no longer our problem and I do not expect our staff to put up with this continuous foolishness.

We do not tolerate this behavior from anyone so do not make it seem like we made a simple exception just when he does it.

My last reply, don't worry. But I never wanted johnny banned, I think it'd be a bit dumb to think that, especially knowing that i'd probably get an equal consequence. I never really liked him, but I never really felt as though I had it 'out' for him. If he did something I didn't like, i'd tell him but I think towards the end we were okay with eachother

anyways even if its bc of his past actions (which still werent that bad and his ban before the ban i mentioed in this post was him saying smth to someone after THEY started it and spamburger even acknowledged that they started it) i still feel like its unjustified especially since alot of users were lowkey going out of there way to argue with him at one point (the post abt us breaking up as a joke that he asked to be locked bc ppl were turning it into a argument, the situation with tarmac crashing out bc he joked abt their response not answering the post question, only for them to make up later btw, the gf reveal post that was locked for no reason, where a mod disrespected him before he could even see or respond to the ppl who were supposedly arguing, and theres likely more examples i cant think of off the top of my head) It felt like yall were just LOOKING for a excuse to ban him

I was giving what I thought would be a staff view on things because I have prior experience. I can just be serious sometimes, there's nothing really funny about this or jokey. Don't get all offended just because I have an opinion that differs from your own. After all, you stated before that you'd like to keep things civil, did you not?

As for the bıtch thing, I think that it only became permanent because of his previous actions adding up with this one (if that makes sense) If it was just the bıtch thing itself, then no it wouldn't warrant a perma ban.

I don't know what you expected, especially when he was apparently trying to change his ways but then reverting back to being rude. Misunderstanding for the original ban or not, he should've thought about it before posting. Anyone could excuse a post being playful but it still doesn't change what's been said. Imagine if all bans were let off just by what the banned person excused their actions with without any proper evidence.

The Appeal Decision was up to the Moderator and the rest of the Moderation Team, let's not blame this solely on one Moderator. We all agreed not to unban him.

Before anyone assumes or makes it seem like we are punishing him harder than we do with others (such as the sexual harassment case reference), everyone and I mean EVERYONE is given an opportunity to correct themselves and fix their behavior once the ban is over, which is why we do not Permanent Ban anyone often. If we can not control ourselves and what we say regardless of how foolish the person may have seemed, clearly we are no fit for this environment. That is not how the world nor this community works.

As I can not specifically discuss ban reasons, I will leave it at this and we will not be going into any further discussions.
