i think a contribution to the increase of p-dophiles has been the normalized p*do jokes, like making jokes about epstein

another one is: i believe p*dophilia is considered a "paraphilia" and i would frequently see people on tiktok defending these paraphilias basically saying its ok for people to like kids as long as they dont like... s-xually/romantically interact with them.
paraphilias develop from trauma or mental illness and people would defend literal p-dophiles with the excuse of them being mentally ill and traumatized.
i have met a lot of mentally ill or traumatized people and not one of them liked kids.

also. im not against finding ways to protect kids online. but they should probably start with banning popular known predators (like james charles or colleen ballinger) off the site.

(They should start making national predator catchers and groups from literal governments or smth)

it is partially on the government. its illegal for children to be viewing s*xual material (i believe. dont quote me on it) so the most a childs parents can do is take away the privledge of having an electronic device
