Unlike other ants Weaver Ants make their nest in the trees they use their matured larvae' silk as glue and use their strong legs to pull the leaves together to make their nest. Weaver Ants do not have functional stings but can inflict painful bites often spraying FORMIC ACID on the bite wound. Minor worker length: 4-5mm. Major worker length: 8-10mm.</p>
