Hell, you've probably interacted with them without knowing about their troubling past.

Needless to say, I believe you can enjoy their art without supporting THEM as a person. Much like how I think you should be able to voice your dislike or hatred for their ACTIONS.

One person/band that comes to mind is; Jimmy Urine/MSI. I'm not gonna deny, I really like their songs. Genuinely half of my liked songs are theirs. I HATE THEM AS PEOPLE. They're gross and inhumane and I genuinely hate being the same species as them. I do think they are really good at making music at the same time.

Now, I don't think that good art excuses you're actions and we should just go in blind. I think that if you a horrible person, you should face consequences for you're actions, no matter how good you're art is. And, if you have someone you enjoy, it's also best you research their past before delving in and unseemingly supporting them.

You can like the art without liking the artist.

Imo I don't like when people hate or call someone 'problematic' for playing a game and/or listening to music that has a problematic creator. Enjoying the media DOESN'T mean you support what the creator/s might've done.
