Basic hygeine when you have no motivation to even get out of the bed in the morning seems like blue collar labor. It's difficult.

I wrote a to-do list schedule for every week and taped it to my door, where I've given myself one task a day that I should at least complete weekly. It's helped me keep up with most of the stuff. I washed my senior dog today, for instance. On other days, I do a basket of laundry, or clean my room. The limit of one task makes it seem not so bad, and it doesn't pile up and make me want to do it even less if I continue to do it once a week.

I have a daily/every other day one pasted beside it where I've written basic hygeine. Brush and floss teeth, shower, apply chapstick or deodorant, drink x-amount of water, etc... I keep up with it a lot less, tbh, but it's still improved how often I do it, where before, it was almost next to never.

Depression on top of an undiagnosed mess of neurodivergency is extremely hard to manage. You don't know until you go through it fr

I've had plenty of "I'll shower tomorrow" days, lol
