A little insight: My dad knows that I read "gay" fanfiction, Just not the... content of it..

So, today I had A virtual visit with my parents but lets get to the ending of the visit.

My mom had just left to go check on her cookies, leaving me and my dad to converse amongst ourselves, which we talk more when we're alone.

We talked about our b-day plans since we share the same month. This changes into my newest drawings which then slides into reading. I tell him how I've been reading more. He tells me how he has new books for me to sort through. They were my auntie's before she passed, but my cousin can't them due to the content of them.

I joke about how "they're above her level".

He counters that with; "Frankly, some of them are above your level considering they're sm*t."

I make a face, and he goes to defend my auntie's books. "No need to judge," He says.

I immediately go to explain my reaction; "No, it's just.. Remember when you found my wattpad..?"

He winces at the thought before muttering, "I'm not surprised."

Zoom cut us off before I could explain further, which is for the better...
