So there’s this guy in my grade and we both play trumpet. He and I have known each other since 5th grade (we started band in 6th/first year of middle school) so we’re close friends. Nothing more nothing less. Ok so fast forward to yesterday. He’s usually very nice and kinda silly, but for whatever reason he’s been acting… weird, like, making innuendos. So my best friend and I had something happen this weekend (we basically established boundaries, nothing too serious) but we agreed to keep it private or ask each other if we could show someone. So I ask if I can show this friend and they’re like, “sure, just don’t make me seem bad lol” so I show him. Nothing weird right? He’s been here for all of my stuff with my friend group and gives really good advice, so naturally I show him. Ever since then he’s been acting really weird. He always acted like this when they weren’t at school (I didn’t tell my best friend abt this because I didn’t really want to) and I don’t get why. For example, on Friday, my friend wasn’t at school. We had to go into lockdown for a tornado and because he’s one of my best friends so I sit by him. He tried making me feel better (as one does), but he like, kept touching my hands?? Like, when we did thumb war he would hold onto my hand after the game was over?? But, yesterday was an off day for me (for context I have diagnosed PTSD so sometimes I have off days or flashbacks, these give me chills/make me shake), so I was jittery. He’s like, “you good? Or are you just cold?” I was like, “oh it’s nothing, just a bit of an off day, flash backs.” He was like, “oh, I get like that when I’m cold. Or when I’m… you know… never mind, it’s a bit TMI” WHAT???? Bro put his hands on his lap when he said that too
I genuinely don’t know what to do because I laugh at those same jokes and yet they make me uncomfortable? Idk man
(Also, if he has a crush on me or something he’s a straight, cis, Christian, vegetarian guy and I’m a transmasc, NOT GAY, atheist who loves meat )
