<![CDATA[Somebody told my school counselor about my home life without my permission.]]>I absolutely can NOT talk to adults, like, they genuinely scare me. I am so scared because what if she files a report? What if CPS comes and takes me and my sisters away and I never get to see my family again? I don’t know what to do. I’ve always been told by my mom that if CPS comes and takes me and my sisters away I will never see them or my family again. What if I have to move to a different school? Move away from everyone I know and everyone I actually want to be around? I really, really, REALLY cannot be doing this omg.

Like arresting them for having violent thoughts about themselves or others, and sending them to a ward. It's disgusting, and will destroy the kids future. Adults need to realize things are SO different. With the surge of mental illnesses and mental disabilities, it would be vital for growth to actually let the kids feel safe talking about these things without the threat of abusive parents, unsupportive parents, or the police.

I think this is the most accurate reason. They say they love me and I don’t think they hate me, but I also know that they know how they are isn’t ok (well, my mom at least)

they might want you with them bc they like having someone to abuse or they "love" you and they think they are doing the best they can for you

I really need to find excuses to leave (like my volunteer hours or a job). The worst part about emancipation is my parents would have to be ok with it, and they would FIGHT to keep me. I could live with a friend for a few weeks sure, but in all reality none of their parents need another kid. I would just be another mouth to feed and I don’t want to burden anyone. I do have upperclassmen that are my friends but idk if they could take me in. If I did that I would have to leave both of my sisters, and they need me. I know I’m not the adult but even then they need someone who can protect them.

even if you can't find a conventional job due to transportation issues or none will hire you because they hate teenagers or there's too much competition from grown adults who need a second part time job to make end's meat with their full-time job, you could do small odd jobs for random people in your area like painting houses or cleaning old garages for example

try to get a job if you can, it'll keep you outta the house and you'll have money for your expenses, if you have freinds a bit older than you, they can likely help you out if you can't legally drive yet due to your age, in my state you can start working at 14 for example but you can't get a lerner's permeant until 15 and drive without an adult when you turn 16.
