Very interesting choice. I contemplated writing a Black Clover fanfiction with a wendigo trope, but I was not well versed on Algonquian folklore and didn't want to appropriate especially if it wasn't accurate. When I studied it a bit more, I decided that I shouldn't since I found myself wanting to change too much about the actual creature.
