<![CDATA[Nastiest rumor thats ever been spread abt you/someone that wasnt true?]]>im asking this bc someone told me they heard smth abt my friend and it made me hella sad bc im obviously not gonna be friends with that person if what they said was true but then i thought abt and the person who told me said rumor was accused of the SAME shit himself in middle school (and had a whole rant abt how it was dumb and just a rumor that ppl believed for no reason...) also he said smth else that was hella hypocritical but let me not be messy TvT

basically in highschool its so easy for ppl to spread rumors ESPECIALLY if they just dont like you, this has happened to me, the person who told me abt the rumor and happens all the time, people will spread and believe outlandish stuff just because (one allegation i seen thrown around ALOT is SA, its very easy for a girl to accuse a guy of smth, like i said it happened to the person who told me abt the rumor), i have alot of reasons to not believe said rumor and im happy i thought abt it harder bc now im positive it isnt true at all TvT

anywayyyyyssss, whats the wildest untrue rumor youve seen spread abt someone?

the point of this is to show why you should get to know ppl yourself/ do your own research before believing what other (possibly bias) ppl have to say based on real examples:P

The reason this happened was because my friend was cheated on by her boyfriend and her boyfriend accused her of SA him. Bc I was her best friend, she had told me about the breakup before the accusations started. So, at the next school assembly, I asked to speak to the school and I addressed the whole situation and called him out for the false accusations. Afterwards he was expelled and all was well.

I got accused of lying about my SA experience because the person who did it was a girl who "didn't seem" like that type of person. Yeah no. She put me through hell and back and I would N E V E R lie about that. I feel like one of my friends STILL doesn't belive me and if I just "talked to her" it would've never happened. (I told her to stop MULTIPLE TIMES but I ended up stopping my protests because she didn't stop. It took THREE MONTHS to get her to stop and she only did because I told her I had diagnosed PTSD from it. Disgusting [censored].)
