I'm in algebra and I don't understand when a fraction (lets say 20x - 30 (30) over 5) has the parentheses but has also dividing from the fraction, can anyone help me understand this?

I dunno how to make my own problems yet so here's an example that probably cant be solved

30x + 2 (5)   +  5x                = ?
(under here is a line)
5

P = Parenthesis
E = Exponents
MD = Multiplication Or Division (Left to Right Priority/Evaluation)
AS = Addition Or Subtraction (Left to Right Priority/Evalulation)

I also need to correct myself on the (1 * 8)/(2 * 2) = 1 * 8 over 2 * 2 thing. It's more like ((1 * 8) / (2 * 2)) is the same as the fraction 1 * 8 over 2 * 2 since 4 * (1 * 8) / (2 * 2) is way different than 4 * (1 * 8 over 2 * 2) it wouldn't be able to be replaced 1 to 1  without parenthesis around the division as well.

Like ((1 * 8) / (2 * 2)) =
1 * 8

2 * 2

But (1 * 8) / (2 * 2) without surrounding parenthesis is not always exactly the same ordering-wise if replaced in the middle of a expression with other numbers:

4 * (1 * 8) / (2 * 2) is not the same expression if (1 * 8) / (2 * 2) was a fraction beforehand, since 4 * wasn't previously part of the top part of the fraction before.

Also fractions are the same as division but with implicit parenthesis on both the top and the bottom, (18)/(22) is the same as:

1 * 8
