<![CDATA[We should bring back downvotes]]>I get how it can be irritating to be downvoted bombed but it’s almost as immature to remove them as the downvote bombing was in the first place. It doesn’t make sense that we aren’t allowed to express emotion that is SLIGHTLY negative but we can upvote? And even then those have a limit. Just a thought but we shouldn’t have limits for upvoting and we should have a 3 limit for downvotes per topic. People will be immature, it’s the internet, but is removing it all together really any better?
(Please don’t get mad at me for this, it’s mostly just my opinion but I wanted to speak out about it)

I think there's not any real argument to not adding them back but one of sheer laziness and stupidity tbh.

instead, let's label someone getting up to the 5-downvote limit, which is TEN TIMES SMALLER, as "downvote abuse" and remove the only peaceful way of disagreeing with users. how brilliant!

besides, it's only natural for it to happen and if people are mad because their virtual number count decreased by a small bit, that might be a sign you're not mature enough for the internet, sorry
