so basically, I make my own wigs for cosplay. I use a type of yarn that is soft and doesn't look like yarn, now this stuff is good at getting thick, dramatic hair, I make locks of hair to glue onto a wig base then I cut and style the wigs so the hair is the same length on all sides. I was making my sayori wig and my sister pointed out that the yarn I got looks like dreads. now how this even happened in the first place was I couldn't find the type of yarn i'd normally use so I went with this instead. the yarn despite not showing much color in the shitty photos is a light corally pink color, not quite a baby pink but not quite coral either.
so should I finish the wig and see if it still looks bad? or should I scrap it and try my [censored] hardest to have enough money for hair dye, and cut and dye my hair for this?

(if you don't understand what the issue is with this, Google dreads and look at my hand, not only is it not accurate to the actual sayori, I am not the type of person to wear dreads. it'd be considered offensive/disrespectful.)
