<![CDATA[how do you feel about gen 3 monster high?]]>my biggest dislike of it is that almost all the dolls just don't feel any sort of "alt" the dolls just feel like bright, colorful, strict Christian parent and share holder safe monster dolls. there is an argument to be made that I should just get creeproduction dolls but those are not easy to find in store and are never available in my area and the skullector dolls are basically impossible to obtain due to scalpers and the gen 1 dolls are never available in thrift stores since they are "valueble" and sold online for a fuck ton and going to eBay is a shit show of moldy, mass produced dolls missing accessories being sold for hundreds of dollars when they're only worth like 50$

so if you don't already have a bunch of gen 1 monster high dolls or thousands for dollars for creeproduction dolls or used moldy gen 1 dolls you are left to either buy gen 3 or own nothing and be happy.

I will say, people are too cruel to gen 3 for having plus sized dolls, I can understand the appeal of the stylized bodies the original dolls had, especially to older fans with image issues but I feel like the hate for their bodies is just stupid. the only thing I really find particularly nice about gen 3 is the, uh, I suppose more "diverse" body types.

but yeah, the new monster high dolls outfits are ugly as hell and are dumbed down to all hell to be extra paletable to the black rock shareholders and big wigs at mattel to maximize profets by producing the most safe dolls possible and it falls horribly and the gen 3 dolls always end up getting marked down extremely cheep and end up at the local ollie's or inside of a dumpster since they are so ugly none will buy them.

I want a personalized buhudist or Shinto hell for these people, scalpers and people who will sell moldy broken dolls on eBay for hundreds of dollars.
