but marriage is legal, things like HRT and other forms of gender affirming care, adoption, ect.

I think in comparison to other countries we have it very good, and it's mostly old people who are homophobic and transphobice assholes. I have rarely found a homophobe or transphobe born after or during the 1980's which I think is interesting, i think maybe there's been cultural shifts in America thought that time that made it more socially acceptable. even under our current president we still have it better than like %80 of countries which is kinda insane and also sad. I'm sorry you gotta deal with that sort of crap @macnscream I genuinely hope this gets better and your country has some sort of cultural shift that America did and things like I mentioned above become legal and stuff.
