My partner and I are looking at a robot vacuum for our apartment, and several of the ones I keep seeing seem to expect you to finish setup and map rooms from a phone app. The Switch browser is obviously not a phone, so I keep wondering whether a web-based dashboard would load well enough to check status or start a cleaning run, or whether the whole thing would just stall on a login screen. I don't want to buy something that turns into a paperweight if the app is the only control method. I have no hands-on time with any of these models, just what I've read on store pages. If you've tried reaching a vacuum's web interface from a console browser, how did it go?</p>
