You can show that someone is trans other than forcefully puting them in their desired gender's uncomfortable clothing, and even then- a maid outfit? Really?? I might be reading too much into it, but that's sort of misogynistic in its own way. I understand that they did it for shits and giggles just to see Jax squirm, but it's still a bit weird considering she was revealed to be trans at the end

I'm personally not trans, so I really wouldn't know whether or not it's horrible or not, but I feel like it was sort of hinted that she was trans throughout the show

*spoilers for tadc final episode* fan detication and how I watched it safer :3Anyways, the ending wasn't completely horrid, but like common criticism says: "it felt a bit rushed." The characters in the show are generally kind of flat (apart from jax) and the ending didn't really change this very much. And no, I don't mean theyre flat because they fit into archetypes and cliches of characters because that's intentional. The show never really lets the viewer feel any depth or emotional connection towards characters, and I'm saying this as someone who randomly binge watched the entire thing since the finale was releasing, so I didn't really interact with the fanbase very much and this only amplified how little time we spend with these characters as a whole. I also disliked how they just.. brought caine back. It felt forced, there wasn't even a real reason for him to be present again in the show. He didn't even have a proper redemption or anything, it felt like they just brought him back as a crappy "happy ending" or whatever. I give it a 5/10. My [censored] genuinely kept falling asleep whenever I tried to watch it 😭 i dunno why lmfao
