2012+ is gen alpha imo
mostly cuz I have cousins and family friends born in 2011-12 who are NORMAL -
gen aplha is 2010-2015

@Aly 5 years is not even a decade... i have a sis who was born in like 2003 which is around the beginning of gen z i believe . it wouldnt mke sense for one gen to last about a decade and the next half a decade.
@nelly gen z is 1997 up to 2010, mainly because of how someone born before 1997 would be more likely to remember 9/11. Just like how gen z and some older gen alphas would remember covid. Generations usually vary by significant events. A gen alpha would be less likely to remember covid because gen alpha was born 2012+

@Cybertrash0vtxxy the cutoff for gen z/gen alpha is 2012 so the oldest gen alpha would be 11, would have been about 7 when covid hit. I feel like generations should go by someone's likelihood of remembering major events such as covid.

@vincent-the-punk Its really confusing to me because google gives like 2-3 different age ranges for gen z/alpha plus TikTok doesn't help making claims that 12-13 yr olds are considered gen alpha andddd ya the whole thing just confuses me
