How did you find your way here?

[JamesLHowlett]

found out via youtube when i wondered if my nintendo switch had a browser while i was without a phone at all

then, ya know, your site is linked at the consoles browser homepage

[Shownu Hyung]

@Genesect I found it on the browser after finding the code on Google
(I was trying to see if I could access Discord -- you can't. :') )

[Shownu Hyung]

Discord is something they need to add -- badly
Do they not realize the popularity increase that would bring??

[pwsincd]

do they realise its not possible ?

[Shownu Hyung]

It is if they launch it as an app on the store instead of letting access through DNS

[pwsincd]

who releases it on the store ? nintendo ? wont happen

[[[global:former-user]]]

I tried discord on switch via the dns the page always says that discord has crashed

[Shownu Hyung]

Same

[Shownu Hyung]

@pwsincd actually the owner of Discord said he'd be happy to collaborate with Nintendo sometime in the future so .....

[[[global:former-user]]]

@Shownu-s-Latte Wow that's cool

[lollapalooza]

@Shownu-s-Latte wheeeee
lesgo discord
nintendo is still meh

[pwsincd]

wont happen

[lollapalooza]

@pwsincd sigh
heres to hoping hard the FOSS dev community who yknow are smarter than me think of smth discross-like but not ded

[[[global:former-user]]]

@lollapalooza true

[pwsincd]

oh if you want discord on a homebrewed console thats totally possible..

[lollapalooza]

@pwsincd mhm but im kinda thinking bout ppl who may feel uncomfortable homebrewing their console bc nintendo bans and dont want to unintentionally cross the line into ban-land

[pwsincd]

piracy and cheating online your gonna get banned theres no way they can ban you for running linux.. the nintento ecosystem isnt even running..

[lollapalooza]

@pwsincd ikik but ppl may be misinformed and get scared

[lollapalooza]

wait lets carry this on in a new thread

[pwsincd]

yeah its just not possible any other way .. the browser isnt capable of it ... so the only way is linux... a new console may be the only way... aka switch 2.. in th mean time every other divice you probably own can do it.. its not a big deal for most ppl.
