First 4 Figures has revealed the latest product in its impressive lineup of fantastic but expensive statues, with this next upcoming release celebrating Sonic the Hedgehog's 30th anniversary.
There are three options to choose from (Standard, Exclusive, and Definitive), and each one offers a slightly different package. A near 3 month sabbatical.
Following the popularity of Two Point Hospital, which helped to revive the comedic sim stylings that some may have recalled from Theme Hospital, there's been plenty of anticipation for the follow-up - Two Point Campus. Originally due on 17th May, Two Point Studios has confirmed that it's now been pushed back to 9th August.
The reasons are sound - the studio wants to ensure the best game possible across all platforms, which range from Switch to PC, and all current PlayStation and Xbox models.

Beautifully blocky bodywork.
Repixel8's Formula Retro Racing was created as a homage to classic '90s 3D racers such as Virtua Racing and Ridge Racer 64. Released back on Xbox One in 2020 and Sony consoles just last year, the game is finally making its way to the Switch on 15th April.
Joining the likes of Horizon Chase Turbo and Hotshot Racing, Formula Retro Racing is a low-poly racing game complete with a catchy synth soundtrack and beautiful block-colour visuals, right down to the square bystanders. Ohhh those were the days.

It's an Asia-region copy of the game (a true western release hasn't been announced), but comes with English-language support and is compatible with all Switch systems regardless of region.

Rave it to the grave.
Publisher PM Studios and the aptly-named developers Grave Rave Games have announced their co-op party game, Squish, is releasing on Switch on 31st May.
In Squish, you control a Skelegoo, a colourful little skeleton that looks like it's been through a few rounds of Get Your Own Back (for you '90s kids in the back). The aim is to dodge and push blocks during an underground, undead rave to ensure you're the last gooey bag of bones standing!

The wait is almost over! After months of rumours, and a surprise announcement during the last Nintendo Direct, Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition will be hitting Switch consoles around the world tomorrow. This package contains the 1999 PS1 classic Chrono Cross, along with the never-before-localised sound novel Radical Dreamers.
Chrono Cross is most distinctly remembered for its stunning score - which Square Enix has been acutely aware of, promoting the many accompanying arrangements - and beautiful artwork. And to celebrate the game's upcoming release, Chrono Cross' character designer, Nobuteru Yuuki, has sketched up some gorgeous new artwork featuring two major characters from the game - the Aussie-accented thief Kid and the mysterious Franglais-speaking Harle.

If it’s retro racing you’re looking for, you don’t have to look far on Switch. The likes of Hotshot Racing, Formula Retro Racing, Horizon Chase Turbo and the Sega Ages versions of Virtua Racing and Out Run have ensured that anyone keen on a racing game of the vintage vehicular variety is practically spoiled for choice.
Slipstream is the latest game to be added to this ever-growing list, and given that other games have attempted its '80s-style look in the past (we’re looking at you, 80s Overdrive), its art style doesn’t feel particularly unique these days. It’s fortunate, then, that there’s still a pretty fun racing game underneath what has become a fairly overused aesthetic.

While the end credits of Konami's stunning SNES shmup Axelay promised a sequel, we sadly never got one – and the game remains a true one-of-a-kind thanks to its gorgeous visuals, fantastic level design and brilliant music.
Someone else who is clearly a huge fan is Housemarque's Tomi Väisänen. When he's not serving as the studio's principal artist and working on titles like the wonderful Returnal, he likes to flex his creative muscles with a range of artwork – and we've only just discovered (thanks to the Twitter account Shmup Database) that he has previously turned his attention towards Axelay.

Andy Yates, a veteran of Nintendo UK, has announced his retirement. Yates started working for Nintendo in 1996 and has held various roles within the company during the 26 years he's been there for.
Initially working as the Exclusive Nintendo Distributor at THE Games, who held official distribution rights for Nintendo in UK and Ireland. He then became Head of Trade Marketing in 2001 for four years, before becoming the Sales Director at Nintendo for a whopping 13 years! Then, in 2018, Yates was promoted to deputy general manager while also still leading the company's sales efforts.

Shulk's voice actor is "really feeling it".
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga arrived on the Nintendo Switch yesterday and it seems there's a neat little Xenoblade Chronicles Easter Egg in the game.
In this new LEGO Star Wars game, the voice of Shulk Adam Howden voices an NPC called "Disco Director". When engaging in a conversation with him, his character says "Now this is a party! I'm really feeling it". As Nintendo fans will know, this is a throwback to Adam's character Shulk in the Xenoblade series. You might have heard it in Smash Bros. as well.
