So, whenever I'd try and open the browser it'd pop up with a dragonite gif. That's gone away but now it's just the security pop up, then a blank screen that just goes away, I retry it and it just happens again like an annoying cycle

this site has just become a shitshow of poor to basically non-existent moderation. like, there's only admins here now because for some reason, all the moderators just end up leaving. and the admins are adults with jobs and things they are rarely online.

the site itself keeps having new bugs and glitches that make the site barely usable, features that broke due to glitches like post reactions have been gone months (or maybe they were removed because we as a community were naughty and misusing them, I don't really know) and i'm frankly quite disappointed by that, though once again I understand the few admin here are too busy to add back or fix broken features but months of having to bypass a censor to say sentences like "Dan from the show dan VS wears a black tee-shirt with white text reading jerk" is quite annoying.

the community itself is just not very pleasant in of itself, there's people here I enjoy seeing posts from but I think the forum's moderation issues feed into a poor community. like i'm sure a lot of people here are familiar with a user that's been DMing people weird shit and will type things like "mhmph!" and "meooow" after every sentence and and sending stuff that's genuinely not allowed but there's no moderation right now so all you can really do is block them and warn other users to do the same, and posts that contain topics we aren't allowed to discuss on here stay up for a long time or just never get taken down, like I can think of posts over a week old that shouldn't be here.

and I don't blame moderators for leaving, I really don't, this site needs a lot of work I myself am not willing to put in. and the adults paying to keep the site running need to get the money to do so, and the teenagers like me who are unemployed and in theory have more free time, end up leaving and there's not enough of them to fix the issues on the site when there is a moderator or two.

looking back at old posts, this site seemed to mostly be a tech enthusiasts forum with an older community, now it's a more generic forum with a younger user base (i'd say most users seem to be 15 and under) which isn't a bad thing, more of a netural observation. I think the site needs more staff and such than it did when it first was released though due to the demographic and general posting direction changing over the years, but as i've said pereviously, there's not enough people to keep the site running, mods leave, and admin are far too busy to handle the day to day moderation and upkeep with the site itself.

hands down, I think this has likely been the absolute worst year in this forum's history. I offer no real sort of definite fix, I'm just listing the biggest issues i personally see with the site itself.

basically, it's like a BNS with a mod and more catiogories but it's filled with people who got banned from here which could mean someone who said a no-no word, or spammed or something annoying but not really that serious, or someone who got banned for the most icky reasons imaginable so it's kinda a mixed bag. the icky users part does kinda make me wanna delete my account right off the bat, like seriously, %100000 genuinely considering that because while I can and did block, I just feel like it's not gonna pan out well like I feel like one person in particular is gonna get into my direct messages through an alt or try to find a way into something

the site looks visually extremely similar to this one, to the point i'm guessing a lot of forum sites use the same UI and sprites, while it seems to have been a music forum originally, it seemingly got the same treatment as this site did with it becoming a general forum and not a specific neiche topic based forum.

still, it seems nice and I can understand why people will leave BNS to join it or just migrate over there after being banned from here.
