If one of us see it then it will be handled. I can assure you there isn't any homophobia from long-term users or users that have been here for longer than a week and are actively apart of the community. With that being said, we can only control what is being said in thread replies through the post queue. As far as chat messages, that is something us and the forum moderators moderate when we are online. We always have handled anything that may be offensive to a certain group of people on the site.
As Maribitt stated, we are here to assist you but as we all are human and can't be on all the time, we expect you to be fair with us. If you see it, report it. If you're on Switch and see something like that in #shoutbox you can always report it to one of the moderators in a private space.
