yandere (ヤンデレ) is a Japanese term for someone who is lovesick, obsessive, and evil. books in this genere of manga are usually horror, but yandere characters can be in western things too, like mort from all hail king Julian, giden from gravity falls, monika from ddlc and well, you could add to this list, yandere characters can be side characters like in all hail king Julian or the main focus of the show/book like in future dairy (that show made me rather uncomfortable, but you might get something outta it that i didnt, it was based off a manga you can read) future dairy probably is the most well-known example alongside monika from ddlc though ddlc is a visual novel. yandere manga is good for people who want to explore when love goes too far or just think stalkers are a scarry concept
