im tired of being quiet about this.
transphobia is a real fucking threat.
a few months ago, a 17 year old trans girl took her life by jumping off of a bridge, her name was charlotte fosgate, in her last moments she chose to post the view from the bridge saying ;
"its a pretty view"
she then replied to this tweet saying "long way down"she jumped.
you may expect that tweet to turn into a memorial, or a place to remember her life. but no, it was filled to the brim with hate, and celebration of her death
tiktok accounts such as https://www.tiktok.com/@burntfishies?lang=en have been made to mock her even further, she is essentially a "meme" to these fucking losers.
she. was. seventeen.
i dont ask you to do anything, except realize something, transphobia is njot a joke, or ragebait, or anything, nor is any kind of bigotry, it effects people such as charlotte. to do those things.
if you or someone you know is struggling, there is help, contact family or friends, if you cannot, hotlines such as 988 can help you, you are not alone. it is a permanent solution to a temporary problem <3

I never heard of this situation but the public's response is fucking disgusting, especially when considering that they are celebrating the death of a seventeen year old girl. I remember a year or so ago a trans girl named Brianna Grey was murdered, and absolutely nobody celebrated her death. The whole UK mourned her and there were marches everywhere. It's sad to think this is what the world's like now :c -
