BrowseDNS Error
-
Hi! I'm new to the forums. I have an issue with the BrowseDNS application showing an error everytime I have tried to open it today. The error says "This feature is not available" and I don't know why. It was working fine yesterday. Tried other DNS addresses and restarting the console, no luck. Can y'all help me?

I sadly don't know why its doing it.

Can you try connecting to the Internet without the DNS, and doing a system update? (whether or not an update is available doesn't matter). A reboot might also help. Is this on Switch 1 or 2?

@VGMoose It is on Switch 1. Yes I can connect to the internet regularly, and have also looked at the system updates, but my system was apparently already up to date.

Sorry, it sounds like a new kind of error. Let me know if anything seems to help resolve it.
If you (or anyone else) has a PC on the same network, it might be interesting to try CaptiveDNS, and see if the same issue occurs: https://browsedns.net/topic/2072/release-captivedns-access-the-browser-on-the-switch-locally-self-host-instructions

@halllooo what internet do you have and what router? i have had a very similar sounding problem before where if the internet or router has a registration page or just a page you can get sent to the dns trick won't work bc ot gets overwriten bc they use the same feature
