when i read the title i thought of speech (i misread world as word) based powers so, audium: a bloodline dying out, with the ability ti cast verbal commands onto people or objects, such as forcing them to do certain actions(i.e run, forcing someone to drop an item,blahblahblah), at the cost of, the greater the strength of the command, the greater reprecussion on the user, (with the exception of inanimate objects) which causes them immense pain nd makes the power unusable fr a while. (wait did i just copy cursed speech from jjk?....fuck.)

oooh that's a cool one. I don't know what jjk is but you're all good :D it'd work sort of like telepathy but with mandatory commands, yeah? Or were you thinking more like the victim just has sudden impulses rather than they're told to do something?im literally just a writer
