you ever just.

imagine you're working on a project, whether it be drawing, writing, or both, or whatever.
and you post this project for the internet to see. and sure, alright, it's cringe, but it's rather well recieved. it's nice! the internet loves your work!
now imagine this next.
imagine, you're brought into a new group by your friend. you've known him since forever, and he knows your project too. he likes it, he says it quite good. and these people, he says, are accepting. i don't need to be scared.
so imagine, posting just a simple drawing for this project, might be a bit a cringe but it's okay - because people like it. so it won't be an issue, right?
and then the WHOLE group, with the sole exclusion of your friend of course, dogs on you for it. calling it cringe. saying this character, who may or may not be based off of a real person, IS a real person. despite the fact it's STATED SO MANY TIMES the character and the person are different. seperate. fiction from reality.
so you get upset and delete the drawing, and generally stop interacting with that group, despite your friend spends most of his time there and often wonders where you are.it's such a jarring experience. sometimes i forget that some people are teenage boys and therefore some of the most vile creatures on earth. not all teenage boys, but its always a teenage boy.
now i feel bad.
is this the right category? -
Is this by chance about forsaken or anything relating to Shedletsky, Builderman, Coolkid, or 007n7? Ex:Forsaken. Just a guess. I had a feeling.
