What do you think about a petiton to convince discord to optimise their browser for switch

@dan Possible, but discord loves their users, if we rally all 26k people who petitioned to nintendo they'll have to say yes!

@Cybertrash0vtxxy true but from what ive seen alot of big companies r kinda stupid in the last years till today, but who knows maybe discord is smarter than most big companies

If you make a petition, I'll definitely promote it! I think it should include the framing that it seems Nintendo is not going to help (after 7 years and 26k signatures), and that all that the signers are asking for is to have just a little more support such that the older Switch browser works with the Discord web app!
Probably this can be done via JS polyfills, making sure that older versions of webkit don't error, and that any advanced features fallback without crashing or infinite loading. I'm not saying it's a necessarily easy task for Discord engineers, however, if they prioritize it, it would obviously have a lot of impact for a lot of users that use outdated or non-traditional browsers.

However they're talking about a full-on integration, not "just" better web app support. So the scope of the petition should importantly highlight that just optimizing their web app for the browser is all that thousands of users are interested in.

@VGMoose I'll see what i can do, however my options are limited because i'm on Switch.
