I've reread it a few times since then (terrifying to think it was 2022) and it's genuinely still great, can definitely vouch for this and you should all read it asap lmao

I've read snippets of 1984 by George Orwell and that sounds like it was loosely based on it, but up to recent standards instead. In 1984 they're under a dictatorship of the omnipresent Big Brother, maybe this is what would've happened if it wasn't written in the 50's... sounds like a good read though, i'll try checking it out!
