RE: tabs, way back in the day, there was a website called WiiTabs for the wii internet browser. It worked by loading websites in an iframe or adobe flash. Unfortunately, in the modern internet, many websites fully disable being embedded in a frame, however. It is still worth looking into though, probably in limited situations. The other unfortunate thing is you'd of course lose all your tabs after 20 min, unless there was some kind of IP-related preservation feature.

@VGMoose I was thinking about something similar, and then remembered iframes are kinda obsolete now, sadly.
Shame though, because they're just so useful. Like you could sync search history to somebody's switchbru account -
however there is this thing called browsenx and you need homebrew. browsenx removes the timer and lets you watch videos all on the switch's browser
