    im tryna use a old generator on a old application and i want to do it through the DNS to see if it would effect the results from the original computer but i cant stay on the application for more than 60 seconds whithout it booting down and kicking me offffff. would there be any to turn off add blocker in settings? #oldaigenerators4life #lowkeypleasehelp

        Yeah, there is a way. Our Admins turned off advertisements for a reason. @VGMoose could probably answer your question.

          The DNS only blocks ads on the 45.55.112.11 adress (not the main one, which is 45.55.142.122). Although, I had been thinking of rolling it out to the other addresses, I haven’t yet: https://browsedns.net/topic/5109/block-ads

          So if the site you’re at is saying you’re using an adblocker, it’s likely a limitation of the Switch browser that prevents something from loading, which the site detects.

          You could confirm this by self hosting: https://browsedns.net/topic/2072/captivedns

          I’ll also note that the DNS isn't like a proxy or a VPN, it only affects the domain name resolutions. For example, if the site is using IP detection to limit you, your IP will still be the same even when using the browser.
