i feel like someome should make this, i dont know the limitations but i know it works on vita and 3ds. this would be really easy of a way to mod your switch ESPECIALLY on switch lite with you needing a modchip. this is just an idea of something but has someone looked into this?

For modded Switches, the best you can do is https://github.com/crc-32/BrowseNX (supports videos, no timeout)

For unmodded Switches, it would be great to have a service like https://github.com/ttalvitie/browservice although doing this at scale would be expensive and have privacy concerns. Running it locally, or having a cheap network device host it locally, is much more doable.

Er, I interpreted this as modding the browser to be more functional.

If you're talking about using the browser as a homebrew entrypoint, it's not going to happen due to both the security checks in the Switch, and updates to the browser that Nintendo makes.

The last web exploit was on FW 4.0 and since then they've added more checks and an ability to remotely disable the browser if it becomes out of date and exploitable. (Which is good btw, otherwise web viruses could be A Thing).
