the switch isn't underpowered devs just don't know how to make games

i mean its a fairly exclusive title and I'm gonna assume it was developed purely on the switch...
not that i play pokemon , put really how hard can it be if you consider botw in comparison.

@pwsincd botw doom wolfenstein etc. it isn't bc they've never created a game like it bc the gamecube had a pokemon game in 3d so did the n64 and they both looked better so it was a game made by people who don't care about pokemon and made it just for the money

@FeliciaOwO i didnt play the game tbh so cannot connect on the experience.. pokemon is not a game i have ever played.

Pokémon Legends Arceus actually looks pretty alright for what it is. It's certainly a step-up from Pokémon Sword and Shield. The other Pokémon games on Switch have completely different art-styles, neither of which really grew on me.
I am more upset about how we don't really get every Pokémon in-game anymore, but eh. Honestly, I've always been a sucker for the Generation 3 and 4 games anyway. :stuck_out_tongue:

@FeliciaOwO, maybe. Can't ever forget the trees though in Sword and Shield. :smiley:
Personally, I never paid much attention to the actual textures, I just think the overall design of each of the islands is cool. The terrain of each island appealed more to me than the Wild Area for instance, they're much more fun to explore. That being said, I agree with you that I wish the more recent games could take more advantage of the Switch anyway. Some aspects are totally... not great.

@FeliciaOwO, I will say that when Pokémon Sword and Shield initially came out, I wasn't much of a fan because I focused solely on how the graphics looked. As I played through it though, and as the updates came out, I started to really enjoy the game for what it is.
All games got flaws, that's unarguable, but meh. All games have at least something really going for it. Legends Arceus was an interesting twist from the standard Gym Leaders and Elite 4 formula. :)

i would first look at gen 1, going all the way up to today, things have been going up
