As far as this site is concerned, we will follow all applicable laws for the states that our users reside in. Likely, if my understanding is correct, that would look like preventing Michigan users from accessing the website in order to comply with the bill if it passes.

safer states like ca and ny probably wont pass it but i worry about every one else, and also the 2 states i listed.

if it spreads to wisconsin, idk what im gonna do. this place and spacehey and roblox are my only forms of community. all 3 will probably ban me from their sites to comply

i mean tor in itself is fully legal to use so long as you arent using it for illegal purposes. if youre using it for anonymity without intent to do bad things with it, less likely you'd be sent to jail for using it

if youre using it for no no reasons youre thinking of and doing illegal things? thats illegal, but if youre using it for privacy without doing illegal things on it, perfectly legal to use

the bill says no vpns so thats why i was concerned

if you set up a network wide spoofer or vpn prior to its passing, or constantly keep a vpn on prior to the bill being passed if it does. they probably dont have as much legal standing compared to if you downloaded one and turned it on for that reason after it passes. just my guess tho
