you might not think banning of transgenders online is a big deal, but given how much we use the Internet, its not much different than the jews not being allowed certain places. this i feel could be a start of something larger, and regardless of how you feel about trans people, they aren't hurting anyone. and do not deserve this kind of treatment.

I dont have much against trans people. Only thing is when they are like "Ooh, i wanna be a girl!" and people support a little 12 year old getting their nuts chopped off even though they don't have a fully developed mind. If you are 18, and wanna pay for it YOURSELF to get your meat chopped, you do you. Just dont touch the kids

My two cents on this topic is: In this thread, we're currently discussing a law that, if passed, would make it forbidden to even discuss whether or not that law is fair. This thread itself would be in violation.
You don't have to be on any "side" to see how that's using government to restrict free speech. While the bill says that sites can filter certain problematic content for Michigan users, most website owners won't take that risk, as it would open us up to potential fines and lawsuits.
