Why is it that prisoners are given food and water and homeless people get nothing
@questionoftheday Because homeless people aren't always documented number 1, and prisoners are put in prison as punishment for a specific amount of time until they are judged, perhaps losing their life, perhaps not. To kill a prisoner would be a felony, because they are in the legal system's custody, and starving them would kill them. Homeless people are in nobody's custody so the system doesn't care.
