Does this thing ever go away?

Am I really the only individual that finds this abhorrently annoying? Say whatever you will, but I straight up cannot tolerate seeing it on my screen anymore. I have thought it would go away after a week but I guess that was obtuse optimism. Either I am missing something extremely obvious here, which is unlikely as I have searched every nook and cranny to get rid of it, or it is there to haunt you forever.

No, as far as i'm aware you can't remove it. I suppose it's helpful for new users who don't know the rules and such but yeah, it gets annoying after like a week

@YourAriesBestie I have always wondered why it was not going away, as far as I am concerned I am not a new user anymore, and I do not need to be babied with a link to the rules, but, I am glad you are of the same opinion. It has always been an eyesore, and I am not sure why I did not just remove it by force.

Well, I just did after you told me. I have an extension called "Stylus" that allows me to permanently customise any website I want. All I had to do was just find the element for the eyesore notification and hide its display.
Too bad it is only for PC users, though. -
