so theres a executive order being propsed, basically if its approved being born in America wont make you a American citizen and your parents need to have citizenship for you to be a citizen, and birth certificates will no longer be a valid way to confirm citizenship.

while i think this idea makes sense in order to discourage illegal immigration, i feel like it could be used to scare legal American immigrants from voting out of fear but idk
at face value it seems like a reasonable thing but this kind of stuff is NEVER that simple and i have a feeling theres more to it then just what it claims to be trying to solve

birth certificates are a popular way to prove you can vote so this whole thing could definitely discourage voters of certain demographics, what are yalls thoughts?
