i got told that the mimic from secret of the mimic and the one from ruin were not the same

@starstorm I can see why the person who told you that would think so. The mimic in Ruin looks different from the mimic in Secret of the Mimic, but you need to remember that about 60 years have gone by between Secret of the Mimic and Ruin.
