why ARE lgbt ppl so depressed? i used to have depression but it had nothin to do with me being gay:P
ppl usually say its discrimination but plenty of other groups have experienced just as bad if not worse discrimination and arent known for having depression
im genuinely curious why its become a staple of the lgbtq community TvT -
@_Izzy_ It might be because most LGBTQ people r discriminated against by their own families and friends, as well as absolute strangers who know nothing about them, while other groups, it's mostly just strangers, maybe sometimes friends, but mostly strangers.

@Nonbinary_wolf that makes sense, i was gonna use black Americans as an example because theyre ancestors went through alot more and while racism and homophobia arent as bad both are def still present today, but yeah most black ppl wont be disowned by their own fam for bein black TvT
